Pinterest image & video grabber

Pull the real photo or video out of any Pinterest pin

Paste a pin link. Fullsize detects whether it's a photo or video pin, finds the original file Pinterest hides behind the compressed preview, and hands it straight back to you.

Photos & videos, one tool Always free, no ads Nothing stored, ever
Works with photo pins and video pins alike — drops a compressed 236×236 preview down to whatever the original file actually is, whether that's a 4032×4032 photo or a full-bitrate mp4.
How does this work?
Process

Three steps, no faff

Copy the link, paste it in, download the file. That's the whole process.

STEP 01

Copy the pin link

Grab the link from the Pinterest app or site — works the same for a photo pin or a video pin, or a direct pinimg.com file link if you already have one.

STEP 02

Paste and search

Drop it into the box above and hit "Find image." Fullsize reads the page, works out if it's a photo or a video pin, and locates the best version of the file.

STEP 03

Download or open

Save the photo or video straight to your device, or open the original in a new tab first to check it before you keep it.

Why Fullsize

Not the preview. The actual file.

Pinterest's feed only ever shows you a downsized, recompressed version. Fullsize goes and gets the source image or video itself.

True original quality

We follow Pinterest's own CDN paths to the highest resolution photo or bitrate video that pin actually has, not a stretched-out thumbnail.

Nothing saved, ever

Files stream straight from Pinterest to your browser. Nothing is cached or logged on our server in between.

One paste, done

No browser extension, no sign-up, no app to install. Paste a link, get a file — it runs on any device with a browser.

Photos and videos, both

Paste any pin link and Fullsize automatically detects whether it's a photo or a video pin, then pulls the right file — no separate tool needed.

About

Why this exists

Pinterest is a great place to collect ideas, but it's built to keep you scrolling the feed, not to hand you the actual photo or video underneath. Every pin gets squashed down for the grid, and the full-size file is buried a few clicks deep, if it's reachable at all.

Fullsize is a small, single-purpose tool that does the one thing the feed won't: find the real file and give it to you. No account, no dashboard, no upsell — just a link box and a download button. Please only save photos and videos you have the right to use, and respect the original creators' work.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Fullsize just retrieves a file that's already publicly reachable — the same as right-clicking and saving in your browser. What you do with the image afterward is on you: only keep or reuse photos you have the right to use, and respect the original creator's copyright and Pinterest's terms.
Yes. Paste a video pin link the same way and Fullsize detects it automatically. Most video pins come back as a single mp4 you can download directly. A few are only served as an adaptive stream (HLS, ending in .m3u8) — for those, Fullsize lets you open and play the stream, but can't package it into one downloadable file.
No. Fullsize can only read what's publicly visible on a pin's page, the same as any visitor without an account. Private and secret boards aren't accessible.
We always try for it — but some pins were only ever uploaded at a smaller size or lower bitrate, so there's no true "original" file to fetch. When that happens, Fullsize automatically falls back to the next best version Pinterest actually has, instead of returning an error.
No. Files are streamed from Pinterest straight through to your download — they're never written to disk or logged on our server, and we don't track what you search for.
It's free, with no account, no email, and no install. Paste a link and use it.
